Health & Safety
We appreciate more than anybody that buying a new home is exciting, and it’s sometimes difficult to contain that excitement.
We know that you may want to look at your new home while construction is still underway. However, building sites are dangerous and are defined in terms of health and safety legislation as – a ‘workplace’. The builder is therefore legally responsible for the building site as a workplace and must not, by law, allow access to the general public.
The legislation is quite clear and defined within the Health and Safety at Work Act and we are obliged to follow to this legislation. Breaching this legislation, intentionally or otherwise, would invalidate our insurance and more importantly, put lives at risk.
So we kindly ask that you do not go onto the development without prior agreement or supervision. We will do our very best to make arrangements for you to visit your property at a time that’s convenient for both parties.
